International architect Daniel Libeskind partners with Atelier Swarovski Home to celebrate the most iconic symbol of the holiday season – the star – in a series of collectible crystal ornaments. The collection features five hanging and standing styles laser etched with cosmic bursts mathematically positioned to align with the facets of precision-cut crystal. Emblematic and brilliant, each piece encapsulates the radiance and energy of a night sky while conjuring messages of hope, unity and peace.

"Crystals are magical, mysterious—they capture the imagination! What is a more perfect material to convey the light and spirit of the season?"

This holiday season, Libeskind will also unveil a sparkling Rockefeller Center experience in collaboration with Swarovski. This includes a redesign of the Swarovski Star – a Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree topper made with 3 million crystals – plus a to-scale replica placed on the grounds of Rockefeller Plaza. The landmark locale will also house a Swarovski retail pop-up shop designed by Libeskind where visitors can purchase his Atelier Swarovski Home ornaments.

Libeskind’s architectural language shines throughout these collaborations with dramatic lines and geometric shapes–a style perfected over the course of decades while spearheading design for the Jewish Museum in Berlin, the Denver Art Museum and New York City's World Trade Center site.

In 2016, Libeskind collaborated with Atelier Swarovski Home on ‘Architecture & the City’, a crystal chess set featuring his most iconic buildings and monuments as game pieces; yet another contemporary design interpretation fueled by cutting-edge innovation and crystal technology.
