New York based jewellery designer Philip Crangi graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and was awarded the ‘2008 CFDA Award for Accessory Design’. His debut collection for ATELIER SWAROVSKI features sleek Art Deco inspired hexagonal shapes, offset by classic jet and crystal baguettes delicately set into bangles, cuffs and earrings. The angular facets of the briolette beads in the Midnight Collection lend a contemporary edge to the necklaces and bracelets as they sit amongst the smooth, graduated pearls in twilight shades of night blue, grey and dark purple.
“I wanted to explore the idea of Dark Glamour- creating something mysterious and chic that uses the language of great, important jewellery of the 1930s but reflects the idea of glamour today.”
