Winner of the 2006 ‘CFDA for Accessory Design’, Devi Kroell hails from New York with her sculptural, eclectic style. Her versatile approach to the ATELIER SWAROVSKI collection belies her international background, born in Austria and brought up throughout Europe. The structured shapes of the Plate and Baguette necklaces show an architectural influence, and her designs demonstrate the significance of texture seen in the flower necklace where exotic leathers, crystals and Swarovski pearls are effortlessly fused together.
“ATELIER SWAROVSKI is synonymous with imaginative, unconventional and innovative uses of crystals. I wanted to create a unique jewellery collection that would marry bold crystal combinations with the exotic skins that are my collections’ signature. I wanted to translate the incredibly sensuous, luxurious and modern dimension found in exotic skins, paired with the infinite light reflections of the crystals.” (Devi Kroell)
